Let’s go to Nose Hill I said… We can get some pics then walk around and drink coffee I said… Note for future: If it’s even the slightest bit windy when you leave your house, avoid Nose Hill at all costs because the wind will be practically hurricane strength up there and your hair will blow all over the place and you will take 200 photos but the aforementioned hair situation will ruin just about all of them… Anyway… how was your weekend everyone? Happy it’s over? Me neither… I think we should do away with Monday and just have two Sundays instead. One for doing all the cleaning and prep for the week ahead, and one solely for relaxing and eating French toast. BUT Friday is a holiday so at least it’s a short week! And I have almost zero plans for the long weekend, besides having some friends over for a casual dinner on Saturday, so I’m hoping to fit in lots of relaxing and French toast eating.

I actually did have a lovely weekend, although it was a bit hectic at the same time. On Saturday I met with a local photographer to do some new profile photos for the blog and it was so so much fun. A stranger even gave me their baby to hold for a few pics. It was total random, but awesome, and only deepened the baby fever I am currently experiencing. And Emmylou has specifically told me she wants a sister ASAP so we had really better get on it… haha. I am also very excited to see and share the photos. It was such a fun experience. On Sunday we took these photos, drank too much coffee, did too many errands, had a quick visit with the in-laws, made this AMAZING Kale and Sweet Potato Curry, and caught up on some work. Tomorrow evening Zach and I will be watching the election results over homemade pizza and perhaps a beer, and at some point this week I plan on posting a recipe for a warm goat cheese and beet salad that has been a go-to this fall because… warm goat cheese…

Now, for this outfit. I’m obsessed with this cable knit tunic from J.Crew. It’s super cozy and I love the colour. It runs big though so make sure you size down. My grey leggings are super comfy and a great price. I can’t find my bag online in grey, but found it in burgundy, which I now wish I also had… And my boots are from Nordstrom. My watch is JORD and bracelet is Stella & Dot. Ok… here I go. On to Monday! Hope you enjoy your (short) week everyone!
