It’s one of those weeks where it’s only Tuesday but I’m already wishing it was Friday! Zach just left to go on a business trip for a few days so I’m single parenting it and let’s just say I’ll be really happy when he finally walks through the door. I also have a really fun weekend planed – the ballet (Alice in Wonderland) with my Mom-in-Law on Friday, RELAXING on Saturday (perhaps a brunch is in order), and shooting some new spring outfits on Sunday. At this point the weekend can’t come fast enough! But, I will try to enjoy the week because it feels like spring has finally arrived – warm temps, melting snow, sunshine. I feel really bad for the people on the East Coast who are getting a huge snow storm right now! I couldn’t take it… haha.
March is always a weird month for me. Maybe it’s because of daylight savings, or maybe because it’s not quite spring, but not quite winter and I’m impatient for the seasons to change and the snow to melt. So, in order to get through this last bit of winter, we’ve decided to start plan a quick trip in May. But, here is the tricky part: We’re thinking we want to go to either Vancouver, or Arizona. I feel like I should go to Vancouver because I have so many friends there (including my best friend) who I haven’t seen in ages, but on the other hand I am so craving some intense Arizona sun…
Because of the spring like temps we’ve been having, I’ve been stocking up on a few warmer weather items. I LOVE this cropped suede jacket with scalloping detail – it instantly adds character to any outfit and is so so soft. I also really like this similar, less expensive option, as well as this faux leather cropped moto. My ruffle tee is really cute and also comes in yellow. My jeans are from H&M and were $10! And my blush flats are also H&M and come in 3 colours (if you’re in between sizes, size down). My tote is a great price (also love this one), and so are my sunglasses.
