A little dose of inspiration to get you weekend ready!
PODCAST: Like most everyone, I was OBSESSED with the first season of Serial. The new true-crime podcast S-Town, hosted by This American Life producer Brian Reed and produced by the creative team behind Serial, is being hailed as even better than it’s predecessor. The series investigates an unsolved murder in a small Alabama town – but apparently it goes off the rails, becoming much more interesting than your usual murder-mystery. I’ve made Zach promise we can start it this weekend :).
RECIPE: As you may know, I LOVE a good loaf cake, and this Redbud And Lemon Cornmeal Loaf Cake from Ful-Filled is oh so pretty – how could I resist? She uses redbud flowers, but I’m sure you could replace with any edible flower available to you. Extra lucky if flowers are blooming where you are and you can forge for something yourself! Violets come to mind…

DECOR: Pier One Imports has the most adorable Easter decor right now. I love this bunny tails pillow, this Easter pillow and this gingham bunny pillow, as well as this wreath, this antiqued white bunny, and these gold speckled eggs.
STYLE: I have a wedding to go to mid month and I’ve been trying to decide on a dress for weeks it seems like. I really like this floral one with ties on the sleeves, as well as this strappy back midi (also with a floral pattern). I just bought this wrap dress, but it’s white, so obviously that isn’t an option :). I also just got these rose coloured skinny jeans for spring (here’s a less expensive, distressed pair). I’d love to wear them with something like this simple peplum tee. I also love this bell sleeved tee in periwinkle for the warmer weather.
