Well we have some exciting news to share! Our little family is expanding as we are expecting baby #2 sometime in mid-November. It seems like this has been a long time coming as Emmylou is just about 3, but we I honestly weren’t in any rush, and are happy with the timing.
Even though I’m barely 12 weeks, everyone knows because my belly is already impossible to hide (please let it just be one in there!), and I keep forgetting everything which has led friends and family to point blank ask if I have ‘preggo brain.’ Which I most definitely do. Lol.
I’m very happy to be leaving the first trimester, and hopefully the extreme fatigue I’ve been experiencing, with it. And I’m especially excited to find out if Emmylou will be having a brother or sister (she has been asking for a brother, or one of each…), which we will do next month! And then begins the organizing… Whether we have a boy or a girl, getting the clothes in order will take some work as Emmylou was born in June, and this will be a November baby.
I also don’t know if this is pregnancy or more specifically fatigue related, but I have totally and completely cleaned out my closet, to the point where it is almost bare. I’d been starting to feel overwhelmed in a few aspects of my life, and begun striving for more simplicity. I’m toying with the idea of creating a capsule wardrobe (more to come), and have even been working on simplifying meal planning and grocery shopping. It’s a work in progress, but coming along :).
I’m very excited to share this news with you, and will give more updates as things move along!
