So Zach always says he is a ‘traditionalist’ when it comes to grilled cheese and completely overreacts when I try something outside-the-box (like adding a slice of tomato….). We eat grilled cheese probably more often than we should because it’s delicious and so easy, but it can get a bit old if your sticking to the same old cheddar, bread, butter format.
Love is in the air…. well I don’t know if that’s true, but this pale pink sweater has me dreaming about a certain upcoming holiday, and scheming about what heart shaped foods I can make between now and then…
I’ve been wanting to do a post with a few details about myself for a while now because I always enjoy reading this type of post from other bloggers, especially the ones I follow regularly. BUT I have no idea what to share, so this might be somewhat random!
Happy Monday everyone! To brighten your day I have a sunny, citrusy treat for you – perfect for this cloudy, snowy January week we have in store…

It’s mid-January, the month I’ve heard so many people say is their LEAST favorite time of the year, there’s tons of snow on the ground, it’s cold, the excitement of the holidays is over… With all this in mind I wanted to put together a little winter inspiration to get you through the next few months. The Danish concept of hygge (which basically means coziness) is part of the reason I’ve come to love winter, and especially these slow, lazy months between New Years and Spring.
Hello Monday! As usual, where did the weekend go? And also, is winter over yet? We’ve seriously been having the most extreme weather this year! More often than not it’s -20 and we’ve been getting a ton of snow to, which is unusual for Calgary. Emmylou was reminiscing about the park yesterday like it was a long lost friend. Poor girl.
